We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Support team. Candidates will be predominantly field-based, but also occasionally helpdesk based, working within our customer base maintaining & installing IT & associated systems. The role is as part of our dynamic team of Support Engineers working to deliver & maintain a variety of IT systems to our clients in a number of market sectors.
We are looking for suitable candidates who have a strong background in customer-facing IT support, computer systems, Networking, peripherals & related IT systems such as Wireless Networks, Internet connectivity & IP telephony.

Duties and Responsibilities
·Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
·Work within our Helpdesk Team to provide 2nd and 3rd level support
·Manage and monitor all systems and infrastructure
·Management & maintenance of Customer Systems, including areas such as security, backup and redundancy
·Ability to see potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure accessibility
·Work with 3rd parties & developers to implement & maintain applications
·Write and maintain standard documentation of Customers Systems
Systems Engineer Requirements and Qualifications
·Education to a minimum of A-Level Standard
·Experience of working with Windows based systems, including Windows Server & PC operating systems
·Experience of other Server based applications such as Email (Exchange), etc
·Experience of User Management & Active Directory
·Experience in Customer facing & field based installation & support
·Strong networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
·Experience with Cloud-based systems such as Office 365, Azure & AWS
·Experience with virtualization Systems such as VMware & Hyper-V
·IP Telephony & Phone Systems
·Linux & Unix Operating Systems
·Hardware Maintenance Experience
·Application Virtualization & VDI technologies such as Citrix, XenApp & XenDesktop
